Whoops...

Before we dive into the purpose of this quick devlog, I need to give a big thanks to user Amethyst Pixie for bringing this issue to my attention. You have my express gratitude as without your assistance I likely would not have noticed this for quite some time. This had the potential to negatively impact my work here and you helped me to avoid this issue. What Happened?

Apparently the expansion for Into the Woods... has not been available for sale for an unknown period of time. I want to be abundantly clear that I had no clue this was happening. I obviously would like to get this title out to folks so they may enjoy my work. The reason for this incident has to do with the "Community Copies" I offer on the game's page. Basically, if folks buy a copy of this title or the base game I put in a certain number of free copies based on stated criteria. It's a win-win situation that I've been very happy with since first implementing it. Here's the bad part though, there's a little check box that, if checked, disables the sale of the game if this system is used. Basically it requires a sale to be generated at a certain price before the files in the reward's system become accessible to users like you. Clearly, this is NOT how I want this to work. After investigating, I discovered this and quickly set to restoring the title and community copies to there intended state.

Who was Impacted?

This error only impacted new customers and those who were not lucky enough to snag community copies as they became available over this period of time, which is unfortunately totally unknown to me. No clue how long things have been like this. So if you already have the title, this update is something you can ignore. If you were looking to get the title, then please accept my humble apology for this as well as my thanks for your understanding and patience regarding this matter.

What Now?

As an apology for this accidental period of time where the game was unavailable I am adding 20 additional copies to the community pool. If you were unable to purchase the game because of my mistake, you may now get yourself a free copy by claiming via the "Community Copies" section of the main page. I chose 20 copies based on recent follower data and a few other behind the scenes factors, I believe that should cover the suspected period the title was unavailable. As always, more copies are consistently added to the pool as is so if you miss out on these there should be more opportunities in the future. If you are still willing to pitch a dollar my way, then you are even more awesome! Seriously, I can't express enough how grateful I am for the success of this title and the support of people like you.
